This might just be our new favorite stone...Oregon sunstone...this is the official stone of Oregon, though it can also be found in Norway and Siberia . This stone is a form of fedspar gem ranging in color from clear or champagne to apricot and even deep red. A Special Necklace For Our Bestie

As we head full steam into 2010, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on one of our most special projects of 2009. One of our very oldest and best friends asked us to make her a necklace to wear on her wedding day. She had a broken strand of family pearls and lots of ideas for a dramatic piece to complement her exquisite dress. Together, we came up with a design for a two-strand back necklace, alternating her pearls with Swarovski crystals, finished with vintage pearl clasps we purchased on Etsy. The end result was beyond our expectations! She was a breathtaking bride and it was a perfect day. Daniel M was so excited to be a part of it!
